This cigar commemorates when Melanio Oliva began growing tobacco in Cuba’s Pinar Del Rio region in 1886. Eventually his descendants would leave Cuba for Crentral America where they have been a staple in Nicaragua ever since. The unique shape has a perfecto on the foot while a round top, triple cap adorns it.
Serie V is a complex blend of Nicaraguan long filler tobaccos. Blended with specially fermented Jalapa Valley ligero, and finished with a high priming Habano Sun Grown Wrapper. This flavorful blend exhibits complex tobacco with rich coffee and dark chocolate tones. A subtle and well balanced spice is present throughout.
Tasting Notes:
Notes of coffee, spice, with a touch of dark, unsweetened chocolate.
