J.C. Newman Cigar Co. has partnered with Milwaukee Humidor Co. to create a collector’s piece worthy of America’s upcoming 250th birthday. The new America250 Cigar Humidor combines handcrafted American artistry with one of the country’s most patriotic premium cigars, delivering a presentation that is entirely made in the USA.
The centerpiece of the humidor is an intricate marquetry map of the United States displayed on the lid. Each state is individually crafted from a wood species native to that region, creating a stunning mosaic that highlights the nation’s natural diversity. According to J.C. Newman, Milwaukee Humidor Co. artisan Jason LeGear carefully shaped every state by hand, while every component of the humidor, including the wood, hardware, and hinges, was sourced and manufactured in the United States.
Inside, cigar enthusiasts will find 50 cigars of The American Perfecto, a new vitola for J.C. Newman’s all-American cigar line. Measuring 6 1/4 x 50, the cigar features a tapered head and foot and is rolled entirely from American-grown tobaccos at the historic El Reloj factory in Tampa, Florida.
The humidor and cigars both carry the official America250 branding of the United States Semiquincentennial Commission, further cementing the project’s role in celebrating this historic milestone.
