This brand from partners Tom Lazuka and Christian Eiroa is best known for stretching the definition of what constitutes a large ring gauge cigar. Whereas other cigarmakers stay around the 60 ring gauge range, the lines in the Asylum portfolio are known for bulbous smokes that reach upwards of 70 and 80 ring gauge. The lines tend to use tobaccos from Nicaragua and Honduras, where the cigars are also produced.
